Wow, time sure flies.

May!! That’s where we are right now in 2013!! May!!

Well, at least the sun is finally showing itself. What a beautiful day we are having!!! *people living in the East Coast of Canada know what I mean*

To everyone reading my blog, thank you for taking the time to do so.

Last month, I participated in a challenge for Poetry Month. It was fun, exciting, and definitely challenging. That experience has ignited my desire to do more for myself and my business.

So I decided to look for more challenges 🙂

First, I took on the challenge posted by whoissugar, a blogger/youtubber/justawesomesauceness person online. She posted the “requirements” on her instagram (look for april 29th).

Second, I have decided to work with a business consultant closer to home, and I am so excited and looking forward to working with her. Updates will be followed.

Lastly, I am preparing to do an informal launch of something I have been working on over the few months. Woo hoooo!!

I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying themselves in a safe and secure way.

Day 25 – 30 poems in 30 days

This month is National Poetry Writing Month, and it has been brought to my attention by WordPress that this would be an excellent opportunity for us to express ourselves. Everyday, for the entire month, we write a creative piece as homage to poetry. So, I’ve decided to take on this challenge and, it has been years since I wrote anything, so this should be interesting. Obviously, I missed 2 days, but that’s ok. There’s still the rest of the month. Wish me luck!

Day 24

A prelude to what is to come

Cause summer is on its way

Anticipating the smell of BBQs

Music blasting through the speakers

Outside filled with children playing

Looking forward to this season

Hip, hip, hooray…

The new road

This is a whole new level of discovery for me. I’m riding the train for the first time, and I am on my way to meet a new client. That alone has me jumping for joy (on the inside, of course). Starting a new hair care routine is very exciting. Hope I dotted my “i’s” and crossed my “T’s”. I know this is going to be a learning experience for me. Wish me luck 🙂
